Benguet grad tops Librarian licensure exam

A graduate of Benguet reigned over the 565 passers of the 2019 Librarian licensure exam.

Daniel Soriano Balbin Jr. of Benguet State University-La Trinidad topped the Library Science exam with an 89.75 percent rating.

Allyana Macabulos Bermudez of the University of Santo Tomas followed with 89.30% while Geraldine Danasaon Hernandez of Saint Louis University in Baguio ranked third with 89.5%.

Ryan Ace Oriño Gamutan of University of Mindanao-Davao City was fourth with 88.95% while Gerard Paul Sto. Domingo of University of the Philippines-Diliman is fifth (88.85%)

The University of the Philippines-Diliman was the top performing school with a 100-percent passing rate while UST tweeted it placed third overall (90.32%).

A total of 1,024 examinees took the exam held 10 and 11 September at testing centers in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Tacloban and Tuguegarao.
