QC mall offers free parking space

To help ease traffic congestion in Quezon City’s Novaliches district, a mall operator in Tandang Sora on Saturday announced that it is offering part of its parking area for use as terminal for jeepneys, UV Express vans and tricycles.

The management of management of Crossroads Tandang Sora, in a statement, said that it has offered the free use of the parking space to Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte in one of her spot inspection trips in Novaliches.

The mall — located near the corner of Quirino Highway and Tandang Sora Avenue – has almost always has heavy foot and road traffic being experienced by commuters and motorists alike.

Adding to its traffic woes are jeepney and tricycle drivers that load and unload passengers at the busy intersection.
