Cebu alumnus tops ME board exam

Cebu Institute of Technology-University produced the topnotcher in the Mechanical Engineering board exam.

A graduate of Cebu Institute of Technology-University topped the 3,928 passers of the Mechanical Engineer Licensure Examination given this month, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced.

Lester Corpin Tolledo of CIT-U was followed by Hutch Niño Valles of Bulacan State University, Reginald Luther Orbiso Sinay also of CIT-U, Caryl Patrick Evangelista River of the University of Santo Tomas and Ronnel Quejada Dellomes, likewise of BSU in Malolos.

Orhers in the top 10 were Joseph Rene Carzano Omandac of Mapua U Manila, Noel Christian Cabrera dela Cerna of CIT-U, Andryx Lyndon Cruzate Martinez of the University of the Philippines Diliman, Patrick Luigi Colegio Tejada of Southern Luzon State University-Lucban and in joint 10th place Damacino Luna Sarte Jr. of CIT-U and Bien Emerson Faustino Victoria of BSU.

A total of 5,563 took the exam, the results of which were released four working days after the last day of examinations.
