Evicted Luneta vendors protest

A group of vendors driven away from their spots at Rizal Park held a lightning protest rally on Friday at the Manila City Hall to denounce their eviction.

Joel Beraldez, city coordinator of the United Vendors Association, said they were not offered alternative livelihood and he claimed some of them were even threatened with guns by those who demolished their stalls on 28 August.
