Airline woes hound Baguio judo team

BAGUIO CITY — Members of the Baguio judo team and their coaches wrote a letter of complaint toward a local airline for having to pay for another set of plane tickets to the Batang Pinoy tourney as they missed their original flight when their boarding gate was changed at the last minute.

According to the letter of the team sent to the Baguio media on 25 August, the athletes and their coaches went to NAIA Terminal 3 more than two hours before their scheduled flight of 6:30 a.m. to board a Cebu Pacific flight bound for Puerto Princesa, Palawan for the Batang Pinoy Games on 27 to 31 August.
