Love stories unravel during the Valentine’s season. It’s not surprising as it is the month of sweethearts. Among the most romantic was a wedding proposal made at one episode of a noon-time TV show over the weekend.

While wedding proposals get more innovative these days, the televised one had a very interesting twist. As TV hosts were interviewing the lovers, Emman declared his love for Karla, knelt, presented an engagement ring and pop up the question. The hosts asked for Karla’s response and her reply was “Yes.”

The scene was quite ordinary only that Emman is a gay and Karla is a lesbian. While their sexual orientations were opposite their genders, it’s a man-woman couple that will end up as bride and groom after all. And they will be a man-woman parent for the six-week baby in Karla’s womb.
