Mufflers hide P90M shabu

The Bureau of Customs (BoC) and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) presented to reporters the 13.1 kilos of shabu worth P90 million seized yesterday at the DHL warehouse at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) complex.

BoC-NAIA District Collector Carmelita “Mimel” Talusal said the illegal drugs were concealed inside car mufflers in 26 packages from West Covina, California in the United States.

PDEA Deputy Task Group Commander NAIA-IADITG Gerald Javier said they will file charges and arrest the consignee.
