BI nabs 48 illegal foreign workers

A total 48 illegal Chinese workers were collared from a restaurant, beauty salon and 20 other business establishments in Aseana Business Park, Parañaque City on Friday.

Bureau of Immigration (BI) Intel Division Chief Fortunato Jun Manahan together with BI Deputy Intel Chief Dennis Demetria led the arrest of the foreigners and brought them to the BI main office in Intramuros, Manila for verification of their visa status.
