Café Maxims at Resorts World Manila (RWM) has added a special treat to its ketogenic lineup for the month with the Adlai and Chicken meal. This healthy and delicious meal is made with sautéed adlai grains and topped with grilled chicken breast fillet coated with veal jus. Adlai, also known as Job’s tears or Chinese Pearl Barley, is a protein-filled, high-fiber and gluten-free alternative to rice that is also loaded with minerals.

The outlet also has Keto Thrill dishes available throughout the year such as the Eggs Benedict which stays true to tradition with juicy slabs of thick-cut bacon, poached eggs and hollandaise sauce, but with hot almond buns instead of wheat bread. The café also serves the sweet, but sinless Lava Cake which is made with almond flour and dark chocolate.

Keto diet adherents can also enjoy Café Maxims’ Brain Boost Coffee, which is made of freshly roasted and brewed organic coffee beans and comes with an extra dose of energy from the organic grass-fed butter and a shot of medium-chain triglyceride (MCT) oil.

Little Caesars Pizza, the third largest pizza chain in the world, celebrated the opening of its first restaurant in the Philippines on 26 January. Located at Metrosquare Building in Ermita, Manila, the grand opening featured exciting games, face painting for children, prizes for all attendees and, of course, Little Caesars Pizza’s pizza.

Little Caesars Pizza also launched its #PizzaPizzaGiving promotion, which invites customers in Manila to give a friend or family member a free pizza and in return they will also receive a free pizza.

The #PizzaPizzaGiving promotion runs from 27 January to 1 February. To join the promotion, visit the store between 2 to 3 p.m. on those days to fill out a gift certificate to give a pizza to a loved one. After filling in the gift certificate, the sender will receive a free single-serve pepperoni pizza for participating at the time of their visit. Following the visit, the sender will personally present the gift certificate to the receiver, who will then visit Little Caesars Pizza in Manila to claim their free 12-inch pepperoni pizza using the gift certificate on or before 6 April, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
