The family of rock icon Joey ‘Pepe’ Smith is raising funds to pay for his memorial service.

“Pepe Smith was a wealthy man but that had nothing to do with money. Like many can attest he was generous, perhaps to a fault. He always gave everything he had,” his crowdfunding page read. “He now needs our generosity.”

His family is trying to earn P300,000 for the memorial service, funeral service, and burial site fees, the page read.

Friends, fans and strangers whose lives were touched by his music can donate any amount through his page.
