Warm BI welcome

Bureau of Immigration (BI) personnel welcomed yesterday the appointment by President Rodrigo Duterte of Atty. Aldwin Alegre as BI Deputy Commissioner in place of the Aimee Totrefranca-Neri, who resigned in April 2018.

Neri’s post was assumed by former BI Port Operation Division Chief Marc Red Mariñas but it was left vacant again when Mariñas resigned to run for Mayor of Muntinlupa.

Alegre’s vast experience in the practice of immigration, taxation, audit and corporate law was cited for his appointment by Malacañang.
