Stalzer joins F2 Logistics

Lindsay Stalzer had crossed the enemy line.

In a social media post, the lovely American import announced that she is set to play for Petron’s chief rival in F2 Logistics when the Philippine Superliga Grand Prix fires off next month.

Stalzer, who led Petron to the title last year, found herself without a squad after the Blaze Spikers signed up Katherine Bell and Stephanie Niemer, a pair of power-hitting attackers who suited up for the club in the past.

Then, F2 Logistics — the team that has been battling Petron in the finals for the past couple of years — came calling.

“I’ll be playing for F2 Logistics in the PSL Grand Prix this spring,” said the 6-foot-1 former Most Valuable Player who already played for Cignal, Foton and Petron.

This is not the first time for Stalzer to don F2 Logistics’ jersey.

In fact, she was one of the seven foreign players who reinforced the seven local stars — or the Magnificent 7 — in the FIVB Women’s Club World Championship in Manila in 2016.

That’s why she believes that playing for the Cargo Movers is like a reunion of sorts.

“My last time suiting up for this, I had an incredible experience at the World Club Championships in 2016,” said Stalzer, who is set to play for her fourth squad in this prestigious women’s club tourney.

“Looking forward to wear yellow jersey again.

At F2 Logistics, Stalzer will be teaming up with a prolific American-Italian attacker in Becky Perry as well as local stars Cha Cruz, Aby Marano, Kim Fajardo, Kianna Dy, Dawn Macandili, Majoy Baron and Ara Galang.
