Phoenix in OT win vs TNT

Phoenix notched its second straight win in the 2019 PBA Philippine Cup at the expense of Talk ‘N Text with a 93-84 victory over the Ka Tropa Saturday night at the Ynares Center in Antipolo City.

Matthew Wright led the Pulse Fuel Masters with 23 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists as his team dealt TNT its second straight loss in as many outings.

Ka Tropa Roger Pogoy connected from the arc before the clock expired in regulation time to tie the score at 79-all and send the game into overtime.

Phoenix burned TNT in the extension period as Pogoy fouled out with 30 seconds left and Michael Miranda was ejected with 10 seconds left for smacking Justin Chua in the stomach after making TNT last basket.
