Bolts zap Elite

Meralco zapped Blackwater, 99-94, to barge into the win column of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) Philippine Cup Saturday night at the Ynares Sports Center in Antipolo City.

After a scoreless debut against Phoenix earlier this week, rookie Trevis Jackson finally had his moment scoring a game-high 19 points on 5-of-8 shooting and two assists to lead the Bolts’ huge win.

Mike Tolomia and Nico Salva added 15 and 14 points, respectively, to support the well-balanced attack of the Bolts, who avenged their painful 92-93 overtime loss to the Fuel Masters last Wednesday.
