Germany welcomes Pinoy nurses

The Philippine Overseas Employment Agency (POEA) yesterday announced that Germany’s Triple Win Project has opened employment opportunities anew for Filipino nurses.

A joint initiative of the German Federal Employment Agency (BA) and the POEA, the Triple Win Projects aims to send nursing professionals to different parts of Germany. It was called as such because it benefits three entities: the Philippines, Germany and the nurses.

According to the POEA, they will accept an application for the Triple Win Project until 28 February 2019.

To apply, applicants must be a Filipino citizen, male or female and permanent resident of the Philippines with Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing, active Philippine Nursing License and at least two years of related professional experience in hospitals, rehabilitation centers or care institutions.

However, applicants must have German language proficiency or willing to undergo German language training in the Philippines, with the expense shouldered by the employer, to attain Level B1 and must be able to attend the language class in April and May 2019.
