Inflation eases

The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) announced Friday a 5.1 percent inflation rate for December 2018 compared to the 6 percent last November.

The PSA said the December figure was also the lowest since May 2018.

“Month-on-month, prices of all items went down by 0.4 percent in December 2018,” it said.
