Locsin wants Fil-Am actor deported

The Fil-Am actor who called an immigration officer idiot after getting a 30-day visa should be deported, according to Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) Secretary Teodoro Locsin Jr.

“Just deport him,” Locsin said in a tweet Sunday in reaction to the outburst of Tony Labrusca when he arrived in the country from Canada on Thursday.

Labrusca apparently thought that he was entitled to one-year visa accorded to balikbayan under Republic Act 6767. The one-year visa applies only to former Filipinos and their immediate family members who are traveling with them.

When immigration officers at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport stamped his passport with a 30-day stay only, he reportedly cursed at them.

Labrusca later apologized to the immigration officers.
