Fetus found in bus

A fetus wrapped in plastic was left inside a bus that was on its way to Aparri.

The bus driver said they were on their way to the bus garage after a 12-hour drive when they noticed the package.

Salvador Manuel, the driver, said it was his partner who noticed a plastic bag and when he opened it, he saw the fetus.

He thought it was leftover food discarded by one of the passengers.

The fetus still had the umbilical chord when the driver and his partner saw it. There was also fresh blood.

They then started to clean the part of the bus where the fetus was found and noticed more blood on the floor.

They also said that none of the passengers asked for help during the entire trip.

Manuel theorized that the fetus was born inside the bus.

They also said that two women were sitting side by side in the location where the fetus was found.

It was turned over to the police so that it may be given a proper burial.

The driver took the bus to a church to have it blessed.
