Korean shot dead outside motel room

MABOLO, Cebu — A Korean national was shot dead just outside of a motel room by an unidentified assailant.

The victim was identified as Young Ho Lee, who was shot by a gunman while three other suspects served as a lookout.

According to Mabolo deputy chief Senior Insp. Jane Lito Marquez, the victim was already lifeless when they arrived at the scene.

Marquez told media the police has yet to identify the suspects due to conflicting statements of witnesses. The motel, he added, also has no CCTV cameras.
