German police: Frankfurt Airport terminal partly evacuated Police evacuated part of a terminal at Germany’s busiest airport Tuesday after a security official mistakenly allowed a French family that hadn’t completed required security checks into a secure area.

The T1 Terminal of the airport had been evacuated due to a police operation, the police said on Twitter. All boarding procedures were temporarily halted during the police intervention.

The terminal reopened on Tuesday afternoon.
