Caluag is Asiad flag-bearer

Daniel Caluag Filipino-American cyclist Daniel Caluag will serve as flag-bearer when the Philippines competes to the 18th Asian Games in Jakarta next month.

Caluag, who saw action in the 2012 London Olympics, is the lone gold medalist in the previous edition in Incheon, making him the overwhelming favorite to lead the national delegation in the traditional parade of colors in the opening ceremonies on 18 Aug.

Also strongly considered were world champion Krizziah Tabora and Olympian Hidilyn Diaz.
