Chinese dad in kidnap raps

ILAGAN, Isabela – A Taiwanese accused her Chinese national husband of kidnapping their daughter while they were in a hotel here three days ago.

The Taiwanese claimed her Chinese husband demanded P1.6 million from her in exchange for their one-year old daughter.

Local police rescued the child from her father in a hotel in Bgy. Alibagu, Ilagan, Isabela.

They are residents of Saudi Arabia and are in the Philippines for a vacation.

The Chinese husband was identified by police as Zhu Jinjin.

“He went missing with my child, I can’t find him,” said the Taiwanese mother. “I received a call from him asking me for money in return of the child. Otherwise, I will never see her again.”

She said her husband demanded 200,000 Yuan or the equivalent to P1.6 million in exchange for their child.

“I think he has a big demand for money. He gambles as well. He lost money and failed in his business,” she said.
