Nathalie Hart positive about her pregnancy

Starstruck Season 5 alumna and now actress Nathalie Hart just got real about the latest happenings in her life.

The 25-year-old, Filipino-Australian actress recently admitted in a pocket press conference last week that she is four months pregnant with her first baby. She is due to give birth in January next year.

“I want everyone to know that I’m pregnant. It’s not a negative thing; it’s a positive thing.

I’m proud of it. And it’s okay with me because I’m not hurting anybody,” Hart said.

She shared fellow Abay Babes actress Cristine Reyes was one of the few people who noticed Hart’s pregnancy. “Cristine noticed that my chest got bigger, which is pretty normal for a pregnant woman. I’m on my second trimester already. She said, ‘Tell me whether you had it done or if you’re pregnant.’ I just smiled because I didn’t know what else to tell her.”

Abay Babes is an upcoming film of Viva Artist Agency and will be directed by Don Cuaresma. It tells the story of a group of friends who are competing with each other to be the one to get married first. The cast includes Cristine Reyes, Meg Imperial, Nathalie Hart, Kylie Verzosa and Roxanne Barcelo.

“I’m always fishing for information from Cristine, like how she got pregnant or how many months was she far into her pregnancy when she found out that she was going to be a mom, and also what her management told her when they learned about it. It’s so obvious and weird. But thankfully she did not tell anyone because she is a private person, too,” Nathalie mentioned.

Hart confessed that she cried upon learning about the pregnancy.

“I cried because I’m not ready. I’m doing so many things right now. But my boyfriend said it’s okay, we’re getting married anyway. There’s no perfect time, if it’s going to happen, it’s going to happen,” Hart said.

The actress is set to wed her Indian boyfriend of seven months this coming December in Sydney, Australia.

She first met her future husband, Mayank Sharma, last December during a mutual friend’s wedding ceremony. Sharma is based in India where he is working for their family’s real estate business. Despite her thriving career, Hart never thought of giving up her baby.

“I actually didn’t plan on getting pregnant soon, it just happened. But when this blessing came, I was happy for myself. I’m happy with my partner who is so supportive. Never did I think about giving up my baby although first I was scared that I’m at this stage in my life that I’m going to be a mom, that I’ll start thinking about my future husband and our daughter.”

Hart and her fiance will also stage a Hindu wedding ceremony in New Delhi, India, next year. After giving birth, she is set to do nine more movies with Viva Films.
