Rebels fail to instigate chaos

Communist Party of the Philippines-New People’s Army terrorist rebels were present at the State of the Nation Address (SoNA) rally on Monday.

According to a source, the involvement of CPP-NPA rebels in the annual anti-SoNA rally is “normal” for them as they act as the instigators of violence so that the police will use force on the rally participants.

In this way, “they can gather intel and undertake sabotage operations when opportunity is warranted,” the source added.

In addition, the source said the unidentified number of infiltrators didn’t succeed in instigating violence as the Philippine National Police forces handled the rallyists according to protocol. KMB
