Wao drug bust a success

Combined operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), 34th Infantry Battalion and Philippine National Police seized an estimated P250,000 worth of suspected shabu and arrested six drug personalities at Purok 6, Barangay East Kili-Kili, Wao, Lanao del Sur last July 19.

The suspects were Abdul Batong-gara, Olomodin Tubigan, Panarangin Tangorak, Ismael Antar, Baisah Alih and Casanor Balangitao who were caught trading drugs with the PDEA agents.

During the raid, 13 sachets of illegal drugs weighing at least 75 grams, cellphones and illegal drug paraphernalia were found in their homes.

6th Infantry Division Commander Brig. Gen. Cirilito Sobejana said the combined efforts of the operating units in the buy-bust operation was a success as it caught wanted drug personalities of Wao.

The suspects are now in the custody of the Wao Police Station, with cases citing the Violation of Comprehensive Dangerous Act of 2002 filed against them. KMB
