Open casting call for a movie

Open casting call for minor roles for the upcoming JC Perkins Twins movie, Kaibigan, will be held on 21 July 9 a. m. to 12 noon, at the Bible Study Room of the CCF Center, located at Frontera Verde, Ortigas Avenue corner C5 Road, Pasig City.

Kaibigan is the story of a troubled Filipino high-school student who surrounds himself with friends of bad character, creating problems for a popular Filipino student until they both discover the true meaning of friendship. Full of action, faith-based, based on real life and riveting, the movie stars the Perkins twins, Jesse and Christian, Cesar Montano, Tirso Cruz, Alvin Anson, Emmanuelle Vera, Victor Basa, Judah Paolo and Hollywood actor Stephen Baldwin. Shooting starts on 24 July with 21 days of filming, including rehearsals starting on the last week of July.

This is a nationwide casting call. The movie will be shot in English and Filipino. Initially, Kaibigan will be released in the Philippines, but it will also be released internationally.

Several important roles are open: the friends of David (good kids from the neighborhood) and the friends of Jake (tough and/or troubled kids from the neighborhood), doctor/nurse, basketball players, cheerleaders, school kids, business men and women, comedian, dancers, and more. High-school and college students are invited to audition. It is not open though to those who smoke, take drugs or are bullies. Please dress appropriately if you are a student, or casual if you are an adult. Avoid sexy attire. Bring portfolio and set cards.
