Police in Angono, Rizal may be up for gender sensitivity training after the tips to avoid getting raped they posted on a Facebook page recently triggered criticisms.

After taking down the tips, which included not wearing skimpy clothes and not drinking during a date, Angono police chief Senior Supt. Ruben Pequero also issued a public apology as Sen. Risa Hontiveros said the anti-rape tips not only were insulting to victims of sexual abuse but also blame the victims.

In case Pequero has suffered temporary amnesia, Hontiveros would like to remind him that in rape cases men are the problem and not how women dress up.
