PAL temporarily suspends flights to Jeddah

Philippine airlines planes. / AFP PHOTO / TED ALJIBE Philippine Airlines will temporarily suspend its flights to and from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia starting Sept. 19, 2018.

Passengers with confirmed bookings on PR662/663 (Manila-Jeddah-Manila) routes dated September 19 onwards will have the option to either rebook, reroute or refund their tickets within 30 days from their original flight dates. Penalties won’t be charged.

The flag carrier reassures it will continue operations in the Middle East via daily flights to Riyadh and Dubai, four times weekly flights to Doha, thrice weekly flights to Abu Dhabi and five times weekly routes to Dammam.

Philippine Airlines extends its apologies to the affected passengers of the Manila-Jeddah route suspensions.

For all ticket concerns, passengers may call PAL hotline (+632) 855-8888, log on to www.philipineairlines.comManageMyBooking or visit their nearest PAL Ticketing Office or partner travel agent. Passengers with contact details will be sent notifications on the said operational change.

In other news, PAL’s newest Global Lounge, located between Gates 53 and 54 of the Vancouver International Airport will be open to passengers starting July 1. Economy class passengers will have to pay access fee to be able to use the lounge.
