PET fines Marcos, Robredo P50K for violating gag order

Vice President Leni Robredo and former senator Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. (KCMP News image) THE Presidential Electoral Tribunal (PET) on Tuesday fined Vice President Maria Leonor Robredo and former senator Ferdinand Marcos Jr. P50,000 each for violating an order not to disclose sensitive information regarding the recount of the votes for the 2016 vice presidential race.

Marcos and Robredo violated the sub judice rule, the Supreme Court (SC) Public Information Office (PIO) said in its Twitter account.
