Duterte cagers crush IBP

DAVAO CITY– Team Duterte dealt Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP)-Davao with a barrage of treys for an 89-77 win in a Friendly match held recently at the Genesis 88 gym.

Secretary Christopher “Bong” Go caught fire from behind the arc, and along with sportsman-buisnessman Glenn Escandor, formed a sweet shooting duo that nailed identical six treys each that shoved their team to an early 35-27 lead at the second quarter to never look back.

Go, Special Assistant to President Rodrigo Duterte, finished with a game high 30 points.

Escandor, Presidential Assistant on Sports, had 18 baskets.

Lawyers Michael Peloton and Gil Norman Ciudadano had 16 and 15 points, respectively, for IBP Davao.
