Modern jeeps now on the road

Senate President Vicente Sotto III, along with Senators Sherwin Gatchalian and Juan Miguel Zubiri, leads the ribbon cutting for the launch of the Senate Employees Transport Service Cooperative (SETSCO)’s pilot operation of 35 modernized jeepneys under the government’s Public Utility Vehicle (PUV) modernization program yesterday. The operation of the E-jeepneys is the first of its kind under the PUV modernization program headed by the Department of Transportation (DoTr).
