Fare hike plea

Light Rail Manila Corp. president and chief executive officer Juan Alfonso yesterday renewed his call for an increase in LRT-1 fares because the company is losing money. Last May, the LRT operator filed a petition before the Department of Transportation, seeking a hike of P5 to P7 by August this year. ANALY LABOR
