A cargo truck driver has been arrested for allegedly deliberately ramming the security barriers near the White House in Washington, D.C.

United States Secret Service officers detained the driver of the U-Haul truck after Monday’s 10 p.m crash at Lafayette Square, a few hundred yards from the White House in an area home to several upmarket hotels.

“There were no injuries to any Secret Service or White House personnel and the cause and manner of the crash remain under investigation,” the statement from the USSS said.

A journalist with the station of a local Fox affiliate posted video from the scene showing a robot searching the cargo area of the truck.

Local CBS affiliate WUSA9 reported that a Nazi flag had been found during a search of the U-Haul.
