Two women were arrested by Quezon City Police District-Novaliches Police Station operatives after being caught in a drug bust on early Tuesday morning in Barangay Nagkaisang Nayon in Quezon City.

The suspects were identified as Ronaleth Soriano and Normina Hosmeros, who were nabbed after a poseur-buyer caught them red-handed.

PS-4 commander Lt. Col. Jerry Castillo said that the suspects handed the illegal drugs worth P50,000 to the buyer.

Seized from the suspects were were 100 grams of shabu worth P680,000, a sling bag, two cellular phones and the buy-bust money.

The arrested suspects were charged with violation of RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 before the Quezon City Prosecutor’s Office.
