Known for his volcanic temper, this business tycoon was kicked out of the Wack Wack Golf and Country Club and Manila Golf Club two decades ago.

As the story went, the fiftyish golfer was putting on his golf shoes at the drop-off point at Wack Wack when another member waiting for him at the back honked.

Mr. Temper did not take it kindly and smashed his fist on the hood of the car, leading to an altercation.

It turned out that the other member had friends in high places in the club. He filed a complaint and the club’s board of directors summoned Mr. Temper to a meeting.

The tycoon snubbed the hearing and was promptly declared persona non grata.

Mr. Temper also got into a shouting match with a fellow member at Manila Golf Club that also led to his expulsion.
