Operatives from the Quezon City Police District netted three drug suspects in separate police operations over the weekend which led to the seizure of P773,000 worth of marijuana and shabu.
QCPD director, Brig. Gen. Nicolas Torre III identified the first two suspects as Raymond Jumilla and Isabel Resultay, who were arrested at Himalayan Road in Barangay Pasong Tamo, Quezon City after a concerned citizen reported their drug peddling activities.
The Holy Spirit Police Station under Lt. Col. May Genio and the District Drug Enforcement Unit conducted a buy-bust operation that netted the duo and the confiscation of 5,595 grams of marijuana worth P671,000 and one unit of digital weighing scale.
Meantime, DDEU chief Maj.Hector Ortencio reported the arrest of Abdalla Madis after a sting operation was conducted in front of Quezon City Polytechnic University along IBP Road in Barangay Batasan Hills.
Seized from the suspect were 15 grams of suspected shabu worth P102,000, a red coin purse, a cellular phone and the buy-bust money.
The three suspects will be charged for violation of RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002 before the Quezon City Prosecutor’s Office.
