DoLE brings services closer to DavOr GIDAS

DoLE-11 recognizes the potential for economic progress in Baganga and Davao Oriental as a whole. By establishing a physical presence in this municipality, we demonstrate our commitment to provide timely and relevant support to local job seekers, employer and workers.

DAVAO CITY — Geographically isolated and disadvantaged areas in the first district of the province of Davao Oriental can now access services of the Department of Labor and Employment Region 11 as it opened its new extension office in Baganga town on 18 May.

In a statement Friday, lawyer Randolf Pensoy, the DoLE-11 regional director, said the extension office was strategically set up in the municipality of Baganga as the midpoint of the province’s First District.

Located in Barangay Saoquigue, Baganga, Davao Oriental, he said the extension office is now fully operational and equipped to serve the community.

He added that the expansion aims to bring the programs, services, as well as the support of the agency closer to the clients, stakeholders, and industries in Baganga, especially to the GIDAs.

“DoLE-11 recognizes the potential for economic progress in Baganga and Davao Oriental as a whole. By establishing a physical presence in this municipality, we demonstrate our commitment to provide timely and relevant support to local job seekers, employers and workers,” Pensoy said.

He also added that by extending DoLE-11’s reach to communities outside major urban centers in Davao Region, they aim to foster inclusive growth, empower local industries, and uplift the lives of the Davaoeños.
