Transgender woman Pipay marked her ninth month of transitioning by sharing photos of herself on her social media accounts.

“Long way to go, but nearer than yesterday,” she wrote on her Instagram account
(@pipaykipayy) on 4 April.

She added: “Happy 9 months of transitioning self. The felt misfit kid inside you is proud of you. Let’s celebrate you, woman!”

The accompanying photos show her in a pool in black bikini. Her post garnered a shower of support and encouragement from netizens.

Pipay is a social media personality, who has triumphed against bullying and bashing because of her hand deformity, being LGBTQ+ and being a supporter of then presidential candidate Leni Robredo. She became popular on platform Twitter and then TikTok for her comic posts and videos. She has also released her own music.
