Nostalgia and celebration were the themes as A-list artists in the last two decades gathered for a late birthday celebration of talent guru Johnny Manahan on Tuesday night.

Heart Evangelista, Maja Salvador, Bea Alonzo, Piolo Pascual, John Lloyd Cruz, Diether Ocampo and Jericho Rosales all turned up.

And pictures of themselves – including an elevator selfie – lit up the internet through the Instragram posts of Heart and Maja, among others.

Reports said the artists – who have since parted ways – requested to see Mr. M who had been their handler in ABS-CBN’s Star Magic stable.

Manahan himself has hopped next door to GMA Network to become the consultant of its own version of talent club named Sparkle.

One of the highlights of the evening – that reports said lasted until 3 a.m. – was the “fangirling” that transpired over the old beloved love team of Heart and Jericho by Bea and Maja themselves.
