Social media personality Rendon Labador’s new restaurant called Episode Bar + Kitchen was supposed to have its grand opening on Saturday night, but in the days leading to the opening, Labador lamented on Facebook that his new venture was allegedly experiencing zero sales.
He had ready culprits to blame — the fans of Coco Martin who, per his claim, were punishing him for the criticisms he had publicly thrown at the actor and his new TV series, “Batang Quiapo.” “Grabe, wala naman personalan Coco fans,” he said in a post.

On Monday, the so-called motivational speaker admitted that the opening of his bar-resto was a flop (“Lugi ang event, lugi ang investment ko“) and announced that the place will be “temporarily closed”. Once again, he slammed Martin’s fans for the unfortunate event, saying: “Masyadong madamdamin ang mga fans ni Coco. Pinersonal ako” (Coco’s fans are too sensitive and got back at me).
Amplifying his gripes, he insinuated that the fans might in fact be penniless (“palamunin lang… mga walang pera“) and so couldn’t afford the P2,000 ticket to his grand event.
After such outbursts, one thing is sure: Labador is unlikely to see any professed Coco Martin fans patronizing his food business if and when it reopens.
