Former lead vocalist of Spandau Ballet, Tony Hadley, has ruled out any possibility of reuniting with his former bandmates due to a past royalties dispute.

Despite being easygoing, he says that crossing certain lines is a deal-breaker for him.

“You could offer me all the tea in China and I wouldn’t get back with them. There’s no way,” Hadley said in an exclusive interview with Daily Mirror recently.

In the 1980s, the New Romantic band, Spandau Ballet, had a string of hits, including “True” and “Gold”. Hadley left the group in 1990, which led to a failed lawsuit with other members over royalties.

They reunited for a world tour and new album in 2009, but he quit again due to an unresolved grudge.
