Go works out funding for Tarlac SHCs

Tarlac enhances rural health service thru SHCS set up in different towns

More Super Health Centers are expected to be established in Tarlac as Senator Christopher “Bong” Go works out the funding of such enhanced rural medical facilities nationwide.

During the senator’s outreach activity for disadvantaged residents of San Manuel and Ramos towns in the Central Luzon province last Saturday, the chair of the Senate Committee on Health and Demography reiterated his commitment to put up SHCs to bring medical service closer to the people.

Go helped secure budgets for SHCs last year and this year leading to the funding of such centers in the towns of Gerona, La Paz, Paniqui, Victoria, Mayantoc and San Jose, which he personally inspected last 9 March.

This year, the senator also helped secure funding for the SHC in the towns of San Manuel, Camiling, Capas, Concepcion, Moncada, San Clemente and Santa Ignacia, plus the city of Tarlac.

In Go’s video message to beneficiaries who received his donations at the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office in San Manuel and at the Sangguniang Bayan Hall in Ramos, the vice chair of the Senate Committee on Finance also reassured that he will continue to support the development of the province.

The senator supported the construction or improvement of roads in Concepcion, Gerona, La Paz, Pura, San Jose, Victoria and Tarlac City; the improvement of the flood control structures along the Moriones River in Tarlac City; and the construction of multipurpose buildings in San Manuel and Victoria.

“Community infrastructure are very important to strengthen livelihoods, provide jobs, ease doing business and attract investors. Infrastructure ensure that no one will go hungry or will be left behind in recovering from the pandemic,” Go said.
