Bianca Pagdanganan and Clariss Guce made the cut but Dottie Ardina and Abby Arevalo did not after the second round of the Carlisle Arizona Women’s Golf Classic at Longbow Golf Club in Mesa, Arizona on Friday.

Pagdanganan birdied the final hole to secure a one-under-par 71 and get a share of 19th spot on 4-under 140, five shots behind Korean Min A Yoon, Gabriela Ruffels and Kathleen Scavo.

After opening with four straight pars, the 25-year-old Filipina bogeyed 5 and birdied the next two holes. She sandwiched a birdie on 15 with bogeys on 13 and 16 before taking advantage of the par-5 finishing hole to break par for the second straight day.

Guce, on the other hand, moved to 2-under for the tournament after a 68 built around five birdies against one bogey.

Starting at the back, she birdied 12, 14, 15 and 18 to reach the turn on 4-under and made one birdie against one bogey coming home.

Ardina, playing her first tournament this season, missed the cut by one after carding a 71 for even-par 144. She had three birdies against a bogey.

Arevalo, on the other hand, ended on 5-over following a 71.

Min collected six birdies in a bogey-free round, Ruffels made six birdies against one bogey for 67 while Scavo had six birdies against a bogey and double bogey for 69.

Bunched on 8-under were Kenzie Wright (65), Soo Bin Joo (67), Roberta Liti (69) and Emilee Hoffman (70).
