P556K drug bust in Muntinlupa, Pateros

Police confiscated some P556,000 worth of shabu and marijuana from two men, including a 70-year-old, in separate buy-bust operations in Muntinlupa and Pateros last Wednesday.

Muntinlupa police’s Drug Enforcement Unit conducted a buy-bust operation at Baywalk in Barangay Bayanan resulting in the arrest of Joven Ogaya, 40, and in the confiscation of suspected shabu.

Police operatives seized six plastic sachets containing suspected shabu weighing 50 grams with a value of P340,000 and the P500 bill used as buy-bust money.

The suspect will be charged with violation of Republic Act 9165, the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

On the other hand, the Southern Police District DEU arrested Estelito Raymundo Sr., 70, in a buy-bust operation along Flores Street in Barangay San Pedro in Pateros.

The SPD under Brig. General John Kirby Brion Kraft said Raymundo was described as a high-value individual, yielding four pieces of cling wrapped dried leaves and fruiting tops suspected to be marijuana, weighing 1,800 grams and valued at P216,000, and a P500 bill on top of five P1,000 bills used as boodle money.

Likewise, the SPD anti-drug operatives will file charges against Raymundo for violation of Republic Act 9165.
