Police arrested six suspected drug peddlers in an anti-illegal drugs operation in Pasig City early Thursday morning.

Nabbed in the operation were Pachol Cruz, 49; Lennard Santos, 47; Omar Alpha, 20; Jerry Caminx 46; Arnel Villacura, 19; and Radskie Lumunuh, 31; all residents of Pasig City.

The suspects were collared by operatives of the district drug enforcement unit of Eastern Police District at about 12:30 a.m. at Afable Street corner Dr. Sixto Antonio Avenue, Barangay Kapasigan, in this city.

Confiscated from them were seven pieces of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu weighing more or less 27.71 grams with an estimated street value of P188,428.

The suspects are now detained at the Pasig City Police Station custodial facility while pertinent documents are being prepared for inquest proceedings.

Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against them.
