The highly anticipated medical drama Dr. Romantic 3 will be returning to the small screen in April.
The story follows Teacher Kim, portrayed by Han Seok-ku, and the employees of Doldam Hospital after a three-year gap.
Helmed by Yoo In Shik of Extraordinary Attorney Woo, Mrs. Cops, and the previous two seasons of Dr. Romantic, the show will likely start in the same location as before, in the charming Doldam Hospital, which operates by its own set of rules and is led by Dr. Boo Yong-joo, or as he prefers to be called, Kim Sabu.
The first poster shows his still-vintage office. His white doctor’s coat is hanging on the rack, and Kim Sabu’s desk is as messy as ever. In a statement announcing its April airing, the show expressed its hope that “his romance” will once more provide the audience comfort.
Kim Sabu started working in a small hospital in the province of Gangwon after being rejected by Geosan University Hospital. He ends up serving patients of all types and mentoring newly arrived younger medical professionals.
Han Suk-kyu, Ahn Hyo-seop, Lee Sung-kyung, Kim Min-jae, So Ju-yeon, Jin Kyung Im Won-hee, Byun Woo-min and Jung Ji-ahn will all be reprising their roles in the forthcoming third season.
After Taxi Driver 2 is over, Dr. Romantic 3 will air. Viewers can expect to be taken on an exciting trip as Dr. Kim Sa-bu and his colleagues deal with new medical challenges and continue saving lives against overwhelming odds.
