Quezon City Police District Director Brig. Gen. Nicolas Torre III on Thursday announced the arrest of 28 wanted persons and suspects by his various police stations and unit.

For violations of RA 9003 or the Ecological Solid Waste Management Act of 2000, four accused were apprehended by PS 4, PS 5, PS 6, and PS 15 by virtue of Warrants of Arrest.

The Novaliches PS 4 under Col.Jerry Castillo arrested Dan Mark Valenzuela and Catherine Olisa. Likewise, the Fairview PS 5 under Col. Elizabeth Jasmin arrested Jerry Cris Selagiora while the Batasan PS 6 Col. Morgan Aguilar arrested Gio Llantada.

Accused Ma. Theresa Tubo Velarde was also served with Warrant of Arrest for three counts of the same case by the Project 6 Police Station 15 under Col. Richard Mepania.

Three other accused identified as Eduardo Difuntorum, Jewel Brion, and Mary Jane Ato were apprehended for Estafa by PS 4, PS 10 and PS 16 namely, Eduardo Difuntorum by PS 4, Kamuning PS 10 under Col. Robert Amoranto, and Pasong Putik PS 16 under Col. Vicente Bumalay Jr., respectively.

Also, accused Dante Garcia was arrested for reckless imprudence resulting in slight physical injuries and damage to property by the operatives of Talipapa PS 3 under Col. Mark Janis Ballesteros.
Arrested for Slight Physical Injuries by PS 6 and Cubao PS 7 under Col. Joseph Euje Almaquer were Alberto Piad and Fernan Arbis.

The PS 7 also arrested accused Bill Clinton Sanchez for Unjust Vexation while Project 4 PS 8 under Col. Leoben Ong arrested Valentin Taguiam for Rape.

Accused Mon Argel Bacoy was also served with Warrant of Arrest for Acts of Lasciviousness by PS 15.

On the other hand, service of Warrant of Arrest for violation of RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 was given to two suspects identified as Frederick Fernandez and Jayson Hanlin by the Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit under Maj. Don Don Llapitan.

Torre said the respective courts of origin of the warrants will be notified of the arrests of the wanted persons.

Meanwhile, nine drug peddlers were also apprehended by the different police stations.

The La Loma PS 1 under Col. Romil Avenido, while conducting covert anti-criminality operations, arrested Allan Sudario, at Macopa Street near corner Biak na Bato Street, Barangay Sto. Domingo, Quezon City.

Also, the Masambong PS 2 under Col. Resty Damaso arrested Randy Mallillin; Edmond Aralar; and Santiago Lagrata, in buy-bust operations. Likewise, PS 6 arrested three drug peddlers identified as Francis Joves; Florence Navales; and Georgette Karingal.

Suspect James Godfrey Neri was also apprehended by Anonas PS 9 under Col. Reynaldo Vitto and PS 10 also apprehended suspect Justine Udani. Both suspects were arrested in buy-bust operations.

The Holy Spirit PS 14 under Col. May Genio arrested three other suspects, namely, Rodel Madin; Domingo Bautista Jr.; and Patricio Babon Jr.

An aggregate value of shabu worth P102,300, buy-bust money, and several drug paraphernalia were confiscated from the suspects.
