A 45-year-old woman who is facing cases over bouncing checks was collared by authorities after securing a police clearance in Pasig City Tuesday afternoon.

The accused was identified only as alias Patricia, a resident of Barangay Manggahan. She was arrested inside Pasig City Police Station’s sub-station 7 in Barangay Rosario at 2:30 p.m.

Police said that the accused was about to secure police clearance and when subjected for verification, it was found out that she has existing arrest warrant for violating the Bouncing Checks Law.

At that juncture, she was arrested by sub-station 7 personnel by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by acting president judge Margarette Anunciata Bueno Dauz-Aspacio of Antipolo City Municipal Trial Court Branch 4.
