The Manila Police District reported on Wednesday that a still unidentified individual drowned at the dolomite beach Wednesday early dawn in Ermita Manila.

Police said that the victim died while being treated at the Ospital ng Maynila.

Initial investigations showed that a lady guard at the Dolomite beach identified as Romelyn Gonzales saw an individual alighting a taxi cab and ran directly towards the Manila bay Dolomite beach.

The guard then called for help and rescued the victim who was already unconscious then brought him to the hospital.

The victim expired at 3:20 a.m. of Wednesday while being treated by doctors.

Reports also said that the victim confided his marital problems to the taxi driver before drowning himself.
