Lindsay Lohan is going to be a “cool mom.”
The 36-year-old actress is expecting her first baby with husband Bader Shammas. She took to Instagram to announce the news by posting a white baby onesie with the words “coming soon…” printed on it.
Lohan and Shammas got engaged in November 2021 and tied the knot in July 2022. The two met in 2018 when Lohan moved to Dubai.
According to E! News, Shammas is of Lebanese-Kuwaiti descent and is based in Dubai, working as an assistant vice president at Credit Suisse.
Co-stars and friends like Lacey Chabert (Gretchen Weiners on Mean Girls), Amanda Seyfried (Karen Smith on Mean Girls) and Nancy Meyers (writer of The Parent Trap) left best wishes on Lohan’s post.

Paris Hilton, one of Lohan’s closest friends who also recently joined the mom club, gave a piece of unsolicited advice, telling Access Hollywood: “I’m so excited for her. I just feel so happy for her and it’s just exciting to see all of my friends growing up and starting families on their own, and my advice is just to soak in every moment. It’s just so precious.”
Lohan famously grew up in the industry. As a child, she starred in The Parent Trap, which catapulted her to stardom. As a teen, she was a major star with hits like Freaky Friday, Mean Girls and Herbie: Fully Loaded.
She also dabbled in music, releasing two studio albums and several singles. But her career has been overshadowed by run-ins with the law and drug and rehab problems.
Lohan made her comeback in 2021 in Netflix’s Falling for Christmas. She’s appearing next in another Netflix film, Irish Wish.
